Experience Summary
I have 15 + years in education. I have held several positions within public and private education including elementary teacher (grades 1st, 2nd, 4th), instructional coach and facilitator, administration (assistant principal), and district instructional coordinator. I currently serve as a supervisor for school supports and coaching in a local K-12 public school system. In addition, I have spent time as an adjunct lecturer at a university teaching undergraduates and graduates how to teach reading to elementary students. During my time as an educator, I have tutored students especially in the area of reading. I have utilized many different educational materials and resources and have access to a lot of these items now.
Teaching Style
I like to approach teaching in being as interactive as possible with my students. Hands on learning is a welcomed format of my teaching. I also like to get to know the students I teach so that I may incorporate their interests in my teaching.
