I have 16 years of teaching experience. I taught 1st grade in Charles County Public Schools in Waldorf, Maryland for 2 1/2 years. I taught Kindergarten in Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, Virginia for 4 years. I taught 1st grade in Round Rock Independent School District for 2 years and then transferred to the position of Interventionist for 7 years where I worked with struggling learners and students with Dyslexia. I now work part-time at Rawson Saunders School in Austin as a Certified Academic Language Therapist.
