Experience Summary
I have an Electrical Engineering degree from Rutgers University of New Jersey. I have a heavy background in mathematics. I started tutoring math in college and continued tutoring high school students during my career in engineering. I have volunteered at Junior Achievement in Ohio. I have been a homeschooling instructor since 2010. As a homeschooling instructor my biggest achievement was when the child I instructed told me she loved math.
Teaching Style
I believe there is more than one way to teach a concept.
As your tutor my first job will be to understand your learning style. Then I will use that to teach accordingly.
Visualizing Geometry can be very beneficial way of learning the subject.
I am a patient tutor and want my students to succeed.
