Experience Summary
Hello. I am a Financial Analysis and Planning consultant who use Excel and almost all its functionalities extensively. I would be happy to share my years of experience with Excel in various Fortune 100 companies that I have worked for over 15 years. I have used Excel in creating complex models, macros, tables, charts and almost all the other functionalities that Excel offers. I have also tutored and guided many of my colleague, always called me " to Excel wizard ", in Excel. Therefore, I have gained a great deal of experience in providing engaging and successful in-person tutoring. I will work with you to identify your need and customize the approach to your level.
At the end of the course, depending on your level, you should be able to enter and edit Excel data, make simple pivot tables and charts, create simple Excel formulas, use Excel functions IF and VLOOKUP, as well as Financial, Lookup&Reference, Text, Logical, Information functions, filter and sort lists of data, use Excel table functions to de-duplicate data and make totals, understand how Excel is used in a business context to analyze data. More importantly, I will work with you to identify and focus on the most important items that you need to learn so that you are not overwhelmed with the thing you may never use.
Excel is a great tool to learn not only for students or professionals but also for just about anyone who wants, perhaps, to track her or his spending, keep a budget. That is, Microsoft Excel provides those tools and features for everyone. As a former student, I understand how I can tutor you to perform complex mathematical, logical and financial calculation faster with accuracy. As a professional, I can share my hands-on experiences in creating almost every possible financial model to make your job easier. As a household user, I can tutor you how you can maintain your monthly expenses, budget, or better yet how you can plan for your next vacation by using Excel.
