Experience Summary
I love teaching students to read! It brings me great joy to see a child grow from a non-reader or struggling reader, to a happy, confident independent reader. Over the past 20 years, I have strived to learn many different techniques to teach children learning challenges. If your child struggles to sound out words, spell, retain sounds, read fluently or reverses letters, and is frustrated or dislikes reading, I can help. Kindergarten - 3rd grade development of reading skills is my specialty.
