Experience Summary
I have tutored many different people of all ages in several subjects. I love being able to explain English to others so that they may understand and be able to complete their assignments successfully in the future. I have experience teaching and tutoring a variety of subjects from English and Spanish to Art History.I have taken several Art classes at the college level and have read much about the subject in my spare time. I know many artists and all of the art movements since the beginning of time.English is my strongest subject and I am knowledgeable with concepts, writing, and sentence structure. I have been tutoring English for over ten years and my students always leave well informed and optimistic about what they have learned. I currently tutor in my college and assist many students from basic to advanced classes.I have been reading since I was very young and know a very large variety of authors, books, and important pieces of literature. I am knowledgeable in World Literature, British Literature, American Literature, and several others. I have studied many anthologies and have written essays on some of the earliest pieces of literature.I have several business class certifications in which taught me the many ways to write a resume and be able to teach others how to put their qualifications on paper in a unique way.I am fully bilingual in Spanish and can assist others with reading, writing, and speaking the language. I was raised in Miami, Florida and know several different types of Spanish from different countries. I have been tutoring the Spanish language since I was fifteen years old.
My Hobbies
I truly believe that knowledge is power! In my spare time, I enjoy reading and learning new things. I love being able to help others and see them understand the material. I am a lover of all things Shakespeare and Classical Literature. I am fully bilingual in Spanish and enjoy teaching it to others.
