Experience Summary
I started my nursing career over 20 years ago as a Licensed practical nurse. Several years later I obtained my BSN and most recently my MSN degree.
My primary area of specialization has been Neonatal Intensive Care but I've worked in long-term care, home health, community health and education. Even though I love my babies I've developed a passion for education, especially when it comes to NCLEX preparation. I have classroom & clinical education experience and have worked with very diverse student populations.
Other Comments
I've passed the NCLEX-PN then later on, the NCLEX-RN...both on the first attempt. Even though I studied the content in depth, the main lesson I learned that got me through both of my tests was STRATEGY. NCLEX is not just about facts but critical thinking & prioritization. This is important to make sure our future nurses can tie together all they've learned because nursing is about taking care of the whole person.
After doing a short assessment I will be able to work with you to achieve your goal of passing your NCLEX exam or any nursing subject you need assistance with. I use a variety of methods and will find those that work best with your primary learning style.
