Experience Summary
I am an artist and an educator. I am running lessons in arts and German language for children and adults. I combine creative arts and motivation to learn.
I bring many years of professional experience in various areas of child and youth work, including being a teacher at a day care centre school and in a nursery, up to the management of kindergartens.
From 2002 to 2010, I have led a kindergarten in Germany with four groups. From 2010 to 2015 I have lived in Shanghai, China.
2012 I have founded emotionandnature.com and did countless arts workshops with adults, youth, children, families, NGOs, academia, other artists and fashion designers.
From November 2012 to April 2013 I have successfully been teaching a first-grader in private lessons, who was not schooled by the German school.
In 2013 I have supported a first-year pupil with Auditory Perceptual Disorder in reading and listening skills and dealing with aggression, in cooperation with his mother.
From 2014 to 2015 I have collaborated with the Shanghai Essential Learning Group (ELG), and I taught German to Chinese children.
Since January 2016 I live in Chattanooga and work as a teacher, a task that I really love and which brings joy to me.
I have three own children - one at elementary, one at high school, and one at UTC. I integrate different views of children, parents, peers, school and the outside world, and make use of different skills of individuals. I love to live my work and like to do things, and not just to see it as a job.
