Experience Summary
I'm am currently an elementary school librarian with the local school district, I work with elementary school aged kids everyday and am passionate about reading. Appointments are scheduled M-T between 4:30 -7:30 PM. The Fresno County Public Library near you or I will serve as the location. Sessions: 30 minutes/$15.00-60 minutes/$25.00. Tutoring involves visual word recognition, sounding out and pronunciation, comprehension and retention and fluid reading from age/skill appropriate text.
Teaching Style
Casual & comfortable, the student will do better if they enjoy what they're learning. Positive reinforcement and encouragement...and a little fun.
