Experience Summary

I am an Intervention Specialist that teaches high school juniors and seniors with reading and writing. I have also acquired a Reading Endorsement that qualifies me as a reading specialist for grades k-12. Recently, I have furthered my reading intervention knowledge by mastering the level one certification with the Wilson Reading Systems. The Wilson Reading Systems prepares me to teach students to develop skills for decoding, encoding, comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.

Teaching Style

I use the Wilson Reading Program to teach students to read. The Wilson Reading program is a systematic, multi-sensory program that is a twelve step program. The program is a proven scientifically researched based program with measurable results.
