Experience Summary
In general, I love helping people out as much as I can. Specifically, I am very passionate about the Arabic language and would love to have the opportunity to teach it to others. I am very patient when I teach anything, and I understand how difficult it can be to pick up on a new language. Also, I have friends who came to me with little English background, and I was able to tutor them to a full English understanding from their native Arabic language. Both languages are fluent for me, and I would love to help others become just as fluent. I have experience tutoring Arabic in an informal setting, along with a medical setting. I volunteered at my family physicians office, translating from Arabic to English and vice versa for patients who came in with little English background. Additionally, I work with International Language Bank and have gone to family's homes to help translate to them a doctor's orders. I am a very responsible and honest tutor, and will do my best to help all my students! I absolutely love the satisfaction I get from tutoring students to a clear understanding of the subject being taught.
I am fluent in both Arabic and English, and have experience translating and interpreting both. I work with International Language Bank as an interpreter, and have helped doctors translate to patients in their households. I also have volunteer work done in my family physicians office, translating to families with a minimal English background.
