About Me

Experience Summary

I am a self-taught artist that has been drawing since the day I could pick up a pencil. I won many contests from Grade School up to High school. I now, as an adult, have hundreds of art pieces to my name, mostly portraits ranging from simple black and white pencil to in-depth Prismacolor pencil drawings. I also use watercolor, acrylic paints, and ink in various other pieces of art. Most of my time within the past couple of decades has been raising my children and working with Special Education students. The exhibits I won that are listed in the 'credentials' section are the only contests that I had ever entered and fortunately I won them. I am currently illustrating two children's books waiting for publication. I am recently retired and look to expand my art into a new career and hopefully can help others to expand theirs. So, if you are serious about art and want to learn to draw life-like pictures in black and white and/or advance to colored drawings than I am the tutor for you.
