Experience Summary
I am a certified Special Education teacher. I work in the NEISD district. I have been a redirection and behavior teacher, a self contained teacher, a resource teacher, and I have co-taught a class. I have taught resource classes in reading(phonics, fluency, comprehension), math (STAAR prep). I had a tutoring client for 3 years working on math every week. I am motivated and love a challenge.
Teaching Style
I student centered. I believe you have to know how the student learns and tailor the work to interest them and relate the material to real world scenarios. The student needs to be engaged to be able to reach their full potential.
My Hobbies
Reading, finding new ways to teach, playing video games, coloring, and spending time with my kids
