I tutor part-time because I'm a teacher at heart. I have a Finance Degree and have taught myself and others Microsoft Excel and various programming languages. I currently work as a Fiscal Officer at a university where I monitored internal controls for 27 Student Life operations across Central Ohio and regional campuses; assist with risk assessments, business continuity planning, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Instrumental in developing Internal Control’s Cash Reconciliation System in Excel that is over 90% automated; aided in the department’s recovery of approximately six months of deferred work; can be maintained and worked on by one individual instead of four
- Collaborated with the Student Union to develop a template in Excel for EMS reports that provides use able information, deciphers appropriate account types, creates the appropriate journal uploads for Accounts Receivable, IDBs, Internal Invoices and Applied Deposits
- Helped create a workaround for the Student Union to automate their invoice billing
- Created a Data Analysis Form in Excel for each Department of Student Life using a dropdown menu, expressing revenues and expenses in monthly and yearly formats
- Maintains databases for our Accounting, Deposit, and Records Management departments
- Responsible for verifying Monthly Reconciliation Samples as a part of Student Life’s Internals Controls Team

Responsible for financial reporting for Mutual Funds and Registered Hedge Funds, organized the Trial Balance in order to calculate Financial Statements: Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of Changes, Statement of Operations, Cash Flow and Financial Highlights
- Built model for Schedule of Investments and FAS157 table in order to save approximately thirty hours per reporting period on a registered hedge fund
