Experience Summary
I have been teaching English Language Arts at the secondary and elementary levels, U. S. History, World History, for the past 5 years. I also held a position as a tutor in the Writing Center for my former alma mater. I am skilled at working one-on-one with students from all grade/age levels. Before launching my teaching career, I held positions in the heart and fitness field, in the retail clothing sector, and raised two children. I am experienced with the Common Core curriculum and understand the demands it puts on today's student. I am equipped to help build the skills necessary to tackle the curriculum head-on in order to realize success.
