Experience Summary
Graduated from the UofA after completing the Veterinary Science degree and a minor in Chemistry. I went on to work with exotic animals for a few years and then started teaching Anatomy & Physiology in a for-profit college institution. I taught a variety of Allied Health and other science courses which included the following, Medical Terminology, Microbiology, Human Diseases, Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Dosage Calculations Medical Math. I have experience creating an on-line classroom and building the lesson plan, assignments, etc. as well.
Teaching Style
I have a lot of good resources on powerpoint, online, lecture materials, etc. I also have experience teaching in an on-line environment, or virtual classroom. I have ways to make the complicated materials seem much easier to understand and I can explain how to summarize the important info from a tough concept.
My Hobbies
I am also an artist as well as a scientist, so therefore I do use both sides of my brain. I love to paint, draw, sculpt, etc. I am a creator using any materials available and whatever creative inspiration that flows.
