Experience Summary
I have been in education for more than 20 years. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where I resided prior to relocating to Alabama 8 years ago. My strength is my flexibility and creativity. I have held an array of positions ranging from reading coach to principal. I enjoy exposing and challenging my students through the use of technology and take pride in being a life-long learner. Teaching is not simply what I do, teaching is who I am.
Teaching Style
A blend of traditional and contemporary teaching techniques are utilized to ensure learning. Hands-on lessons using a variety of mediums are used to maximize retention of skills. Lesson concepts are taught in smaller increments and connections are made to daily experiences so that skills are memorized and easily applied.
My Hobbies
I enjoy watching movies with my family. I am also a published author.
