Experience Summary
Hello! My name is Josiah Mark Neeley and I am excited to help your child become a better student and improve his or her quality of life! I am currently in school to get a Masters in Special Education and I have already graduated with a degree in education. I have not done much tutoring but I have 5 years experience working with people with special needs at a summer camp for adults with disabilities. I have also done many respite and church ministries with children with special needs. Although I don't a lot of experience in formal tutoring I am currently working as a instructional assistant in a special education class and teaching in a third grade after-school class for Mint Canyon. I absolutely love working with special needs children but I am totally willing to work with any student--not matter the difficulties.
I have experience in behavior management and positive behavior support. I am patient and caring in times of difficulty and diversity. I am creative in presenting information and scaffolding learning. Most of all, I care about the student and his her life.
I am more than willing to work with anyone, I am excited. I am more affordable than other tutors because of the lack of tutoring experience but I do have teaching experience so this is a great deal!
