Once graduated from college with my Bachelors in Social Work I have spent the last 5 years working with youth and young adult, specifically the high risk population. Your age is my passion. I love being with you on your journey as you discover what your true potential is... even if that journey is a short-lived one such as smashing this next exam out of the park.
Teaching Style
Meet You Where You're At.
It's simple, it's kinda like AAA really... I'm going to come to you; wherever you are at cognitively. However you need something explained and/or broken down we are going to work together and communicate until we find the language that you best understand it in. If that means, I'm drawing pictures, then I'm drawing pictures. If that means we gotta act it out, then we're going to act it out.
I'm a big fan of getting up and involved for it helps the brain process and retain the information you are trying to feed it.
My Hobbies
I am attracted to and can be drawn into a lot of different things. I enjoy new; new things, new experiences, new tidbits of knowledge, new people. Therefore I can often be found traveling, shopping, reading, engaging in some sort of activity that challenges you both mentally and physically.
I also am an avid fan of music; so attending concerts or even just driving while listening to my stereo... that is also a great day.
