Experience Summary
I have recently graduated from UCLA in June with a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. I have been tutoring my peers and students younger than me throughout my entire high school and college education, mostly in subjects related to math and science. I find working with kids and young adults very fulfilling, and I am looking to tutor more this summer because I would like to use my education to help students younger than me excel in their academics.
As an engineering student, I have taken and excelled in several rigorous mathematics courses, including multivariable calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. I am also confident in my teaching abilities for high school math, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus.
My Hobbies
I am also a summer camp counselor for UCLA UniCamp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping underprivileged students prepare for and succeed in college.
