Experience Summary
I am from South Korea and have been studying in America for 4 years. During 4 years, I was struggling to learn English and studying hard to follow my classes. As a result, I learned the efficient way of studying English(useful for people who are from other countries) and maintained A- grade during my high school. I taught Korean students who needed English help and American students who needed math help(especially for ACT math). I got 29 ACT overall score and 33 ACT math and 28 English ACT. Studying at St. Olaf College, I explored the joy of teaching. As a native Korean speaker, I taught American friends who are interested in Korean culture and Korean. During my freshman year at St.Olaf, I maintained A- grade and got a dean's list for the second semester.
I enjoy teaching in general and understand the struggle of learning.
Especially, math is a definitely challenging subject and sometimes makes us frustrated.
But, I think that the struggle is the beauty of learning process.
I am still learning too, and teaching other people also helps me to learn.
I would like to join your journey of learning and help you through the process.
Thank you,
So
