Experience Summary
34 years in education; 11 in high school teaching biology, ecology, field biology (a course I developed), life science, and English; 15 in gifted education K-12, teaching middle school language arts and providing enrichment, co-and extra-curricular activities, and career guidance, grades K-12; 8 as a Gifted Coordinator/Supervisor in several locations.
Teaching Style
I try very hard to get to know my students as individuals so that I can tailor my lessons to their particular learning style. I maintain high standards and expectations for both myself and my students.
My Hobbies
Reading, travel, gardening, and attending live theater.
