Experience Summary
My two daughters are no longer home and I am eager to share my knowledge. I have been tutoring French, English and German for many years in France, training 18 years old students for the French Baccalaureat.I started when I was in College and during my career. I also homeschooled my two daughters for two years when I moved to America. I have a rich personal background that enables me to share a lot with my students. I love Art, music, poetry, history and litterature.I offered many lectures about French Art and History those past months and found this new eperience very rewarding. I got a very good feedback after those presentations.
Teaching Style
I believe you have to enjoy the time you spend with your teacher in order to listen and remember . I have a good sense of analyzing each student personality and I adjust my way of teaching according to the person.I am a very patient person and always find a way to get the student's attention. I prefer teaching in a ludic way when possible and have a lot of imagination to do so. It also depends on the age of the student of course. Usually, children love being around me which makes teaching much easier.
My Hobbies
Very interested in art, poetry, craft, I read a lot. I also love ballet dancing ( I practised for 30 years)I love horses and have two horses in France. I traveled a lot and am very open to other cultures. For me, a day without learning is not a good day. I have a great need of improving myself every day.I wrote 3 books in French and I am writing a new one. Being French I will challenge myself into writing the next one in English.
