Experience Summary

I am a veteran teacher with over 21 years of experience teaching PreK, Kindergarten,First,Second, and Third grades in two public school systems. I have worked for 3 years preparing adults for the GED. I have experience working with children of all ages with many different disabilities. I have used several reading programs to teach language,reading,and writing skills. I use many different kinds of manipulatives when teaching math concepts. I believe that each student is different and I use many different approaches in teaching all subjects. I am very passionate and dedicate when teaching children and feel that all children deserve an education.

I receive my bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Elementary education K-6 from the University of West Florida.My teaching styles include using a hands on approach, involving all 5 senses of a child, positive praise and motivation, some rote memorization, cognitive recall, and tactile materials.
