About Me

Experience Summary

I am a versatile, bilingual professional with a background in diverse language consulting and training, and more than fifteen years of experience in publishing production art. My keen ability to manage and evaluate trainee proficiency levels, as well as oversee all payable techniques for trainee development and performance, makes my training process effective and time efficient. I was invited to this country for collaboration in books and magazine publishing. Living here for 20 years, I taught Russian to a diversity of students including church parish members and complete families. I have taught conversational Russian in the first level with phonetic rules conducive for reading Church Slavonic texts. Among my students were children of my Russian friends in America. Many had moved to this foreign land at young ages and had been exposed to English communication before learning their native language. To improve their knowledge of Russian grammar and vocabulary, I instructed them on Russian Literature, teaching expression of thoughts and feelings in compositions, along with grammar lessons and routine exercises. I had also students of third-generation Russian immigrants who wished to learn the language of their grandparents for the sake of reading famous Russian writers in the original composition. The most unique group of students I've had thus far formed naturally in my work environment from educated American monastics, who were my coworkers in publishing. We translate theological and historical texts into English. These colleagues of mine come to me with very challenging and sophisticated inquiries into Russian phraseology and historical development of Russian grammar. My main professional ideals include: Integrity - a persistent possession of and steadfast adherence to high moral principles and professional standards of conduct; Commitment – a pledge of courage, passion, time, energy and resolve to see things through to their desired outcome; and Quality Performance – a distinctive devotion to services that produces excellence above expectations. Being experienced in maintaining a multi-cultural comfortable and stress free environment, I can ensure accurate goal assessment and timely educational achievement for my potential students. I hope to find among my future students individuals who have a sincere desire to experience the richness of the Russian Language and culture.
