Experience Summary
I have studied German and Italian for four and a half years both at the University of Central Florida and Florida State University. In college, I also interned for the German department, where I offered tutoring to other students as well as participated in a German school where I studied for the Deutsches Sprachdiplom - a fluency test, in which I received level B2.
I also come from an Italian family so I have become very familiar and understanding of the language even before I began studying it. I am also very familiar with Italian traditions and Holidays.
In addition to German and Italian, I studied a year of Arabic, during which I learned the Arabic alphabet and the basic grammar of the language.
Teaching Style
I like to be more interactive when teaching. Instead of always meeting in the same place I like to meet around town in places that will be relevant to the lesson. Also, I like to promote a designated time and place during which all students have the opportunity to meet and converse informally to practice their speaking skills.
