Experience Summary
I have tutored a few students, but I would love to tutor more and gain new experiences. My students all had a "C" or below in math and I helped raise them to a "B" or an "A". I have taken and passed Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Analysis of Functions, and Trigonometry. All of those were of the Honors level. I am currently a sophomore in college and on track to earn my AA degree in Liberal Arts. I will then earn my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I am considering getting a Ph.D. in Mathematics in order to become a college professor. Teaching and tutoring are my passions. I know I do not have a lot of experience, but with your help, I could gain it. I would love tutor more people. I hope you consider me.
Teaching Style
I like working one-on-one with students to find out where they are struggling. I am very patient and willing to work on any particular part until they get it right. I always encourage people to try their best. I can relate to strugglers very easily because I used to struggle with math. Along came a great teacher and then math became easy for me. I can be a fun teacher at times but when it comes down to it, I can be serious. I want to make math fun for other people.
My Hobbies
I am a volunteer at a local high school and I work with the marching band and color guard. In my spare time I enjoy reading, archery, swimming, biking, and skating.
