Experience Summary
My background as a concert pianist and composer (with degrees in such from New York University) has seen me work for numerous private and public schools in New York City, New Jersey, and Macao (at the Macao Conservatory), including holding the position of Composer-in-Residence at the prestigious Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ. A former resident of Hoboken, I was also the Assistant Director of the Dieckow School of Music, one of the first and most successful music schools here in Hoboken. Through the Dieckow School, I also managed the Great Music at St. Matthew Trinity concert series from 2005-2008. I have taught and coached over 300 students in schools or through a private studio, and have both composed for commissions and conducted many of those same works in concert premieres.
