Experience Summary
Taught Elem. Japanese at both Univ. of Texas and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for a year and for an additional year at Long Beach City College. Also teach Japanese 101 to seniors at CSULB/OLLI. Taught English in both China (incl. Taiwan) and Japan for 15 years (total). In addition to adults, also taught Elem. Japanese to high school students through the Upward Bound program at LBCC for 5 summers.

Became a Community Language Learning practitioner while in Japan and like applying it (along with task-based learning) to small groups of foreign language learners
My Hobbies
like listening to Chinese/Japanese music and traveling to both countries
