Hello my name is Lampra! I would like to say welcome to your journey of learning such a beautiful language. I started my journey of learning sign language at 5 years old. The passion and fire grew even more when I discovered that USF was offering a minor in American Sign Language. From the summer of 2008, I started teaching my friends and family sign language. It grew to teaching other individuals as I progressed through the program.
As of today, I am heavily involved in the Deaf community. I have continue to teach different individuals from infants to the elderly as well as hosting Deaf social gatherings every weekend. I attend a Deaf ministry at a local church in Atlanta, which is totally awesome. I taught my 2 year old sign language when he was 3 days old. He is now fluent in it.
I know that learning a new language is scary; however, if you have the right person, then it can be enjoyable.
I look forward in meeting you and helping you with learning about this awesome language and culture.
Happy Signing!
