Experience Summary
I am a certified Spanish teacher K-12 grades and have experience teaching all levels of Spanish. My certifications and tutoring experiences include Special Education, K-5 elementary all subjects, and of course K-12 Spanish. While acquiring my Master's Degree in Educational Technology, I have learned to incorporate technology, fun manipulatives, and hands-on activities to accommodate multiple intelligences, encourage student learning, consolidate important concepts, and enhance students’ academic skills.
Teaching Style
As a teacher, I have the wonderful opportunity to instruct a diverse group of students, including those who performed below-, on-, and above grade level, and they all receive the attention and challenges they need. I have much experience tutoring different subjects, and I enjoy working with students in different capacities. As well, I have participated in numerous professional development courses allowing me to enhance my teaching techniques and implement engaging activities, which facilitate all styles of learning.
My greatest applicable strength is my ability to design stimulating lessons and the fact that I establish a relaxed atmosphere that promotes socialization and real world connections. I believe that you will find my experience and personal attributes will make me a valuable tutor who can instill a love for learning and a true appreciation for Spanish language and culture.
My Hobbies
I love to read, going to the beach, and to travel to other countries where I can enjoy learning about different cultures.
