Experience Summary
I have experience tutoring age 8-12 reading, science, and math for a child with a learning disability. After spending summers being tutored by me, the child I worked with made the honor roll.
I also participated in peer tutoring throughout high school.
Additionally, I was a Teaching Assistant for Medical Parasitology at John Carroll University, where I prepared materials for class and tutored my peers.
Teaching Style
Patience is extremely important in my teaching style; however, I also believe reaching goals and exceeding expectations is necessary for the success of students. I set minor achievements in prioritized lists for my students to complete in order to achieve their goals.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading both fiction (18th century British Liturature) and nonfiction (medical and biological journals) in my spare time.
