Experience Summary
I am a former college professor from the Chemical Engineering Department at Florida State University.
All of my degrees are in Theoretical Physics, with M.S. and B.S. degrees from Sofia University (one of the top universities in Europe) and a Ph.D. degree from Penn State University. I can tutor any Math, Physics, Physical Science, Earth&Space Science classes, and any college level Calculus and Physics courses. My teaching and research experience spans a period of 13 years at three major state universities. Below please find a short summary of my teaching resume:
(1) 1999-2003 - As a graduate student in Physics at Penn State University, I had the opportunity to gain teaching experience as a teaching assistant in General Physics courses such as Classical Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics and Wave Phenomena, Electromagnetism, Quantum Physics. I tutored Math and Physics undergraduate students; I gave lectures, created and graded exams, led recitation and laboratory classes, and graded papers.
(2) 2003-2006 - As a research postdoctoral associate at North Carolina State University, I lectured graduate and undergraduate courses in Thermodynamics.
(3) 2006-2012 - As an assistant professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Florida State University, I taught the following undergraduate level courses: (i) Thermodynamics; (ii) Vector and Tensor Algebra, and Ordinary Differential Equations (Process Analysis course); (iii) Advanced Transport Phenomena . In addition, I lectured the following graduate level courses : (i) Vector&Tensor Analysis (ii) Partial Differential Equations; (ii) Advanced Transport Phenomena.
Teaching Style
I am an energetic and innovative teaching professional eager to increase the potential of your child with my excellence as a College Professor/Teacher using a unique combination of education and experience. Talent for developing well-balanced learning techniques that teach the fundamentals, enhance students’ academic skills and prepare them to successfully pass required grades assessments, and college admission exams .
