Experience Summary
I am a Spanish native speaker who has a BA in Secondary Education with a Spanish major, a Master's in Applied Spanish Linguistics, and a Master's in Spanish. I am certified to teach Spanish in Michigan, Florida, and Puerto Rico. I have been teaching Spanish for 11 years. My teaching experience includes middle, high school, and college level. I have taught Spanish to native Spanish speakers and non native Spanish speakers. I love teaching Spanish!
I like to observe how my students learn in order to teach them in the best way possible. I ask many questions to check that my students are understanding and we practice the material until I see that my students comprehend very well the topic taught. I like to review the previous material before starting a new one. I like tutoring because I help my students one-one.
Teaching Style
I ask many questions to see the level of my student in order to help them. It is important to me to know how the student learns, so I would be able to help him/her as much as I can.
