As a graduate student, a teacher and a parent I have spent many years teaching and tutoring. My son was home-schooled in middle/high school. I tutored all subjects - math, science, English, literature, social studies, history, etc. I also tutored him for his GED which he passed successfully and is now in college. In graduate school I taught both lower division and upper division biology courses. My main focus was on hypothesis formation and writing scientific reports. I was hired to tutor mathematics for EOS (end of semester) and state-mandated testing at the public high school where I also tutored mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, Statistics and Financial Literacy)in summer school.
