Experience Summary
Although I wish I could count the endless amount of time I spent playing teacher as a child, I know parents are looking for more expierence than an eight year old and her dolls. I have tutored children, ages ranging from eight to fourteen, off and on for three years. I have expierence and am personally more comfortable helping with English and math centered tutoring for any grade level but am able to help with other elementary level classes.I've had the privilege to help with the passionate and the difficult and have been able to produce satisfactory results for all parties involved.
Teaching Style
My teaching style differs with each child. One child does well learning by applying the material to real live situations
Another does better with breaking it down and just memorizing facts
I am very flexible and make an effort to find the best method to save both myself and the child time that would otherwise be wasted with an ineffective approach to learning.
My Hobbies
I am very athletic and enjoy participating in city league sports. I have recently taken to traveling and also have a fierce passion for baking.
