I am a former newspaper writer/editor having worked in the journalism business for 18 years. I worked as a sports writer for the first half of my journalism career, having covered the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. I interviewed professional athletes, coaches, and league officials to find out what was going on with the team and I attended home and away games and wrote about what happened. Later, I became a news writer/editor, covering crime, politics, and education. Currently, I am in PR, writing press releases for a major Texas state agency.
