Experience Summary
I love to teach and tutor mathematics, especially algebra, when students cannot seem to grasp basic concepts. Usually when a analogy to money is used, it becomes a little more successful. Learning and teaching have always been a joy to me. I believe that good reading skills are essential to good learning at all levels and in all subjects. I read a lot as a child, as I grew up, and I continue to enjoy reading today. Not only do I like to tutor and teach, but I would like to serve as a role model for young girls to turn to the Science/Math field and arena. Good parenting +limited amount of video/computer time+ lots of physical exercise + reading = Great learning,and development for any child. Many times students need the extra one-on-one attention that a tutor can give them to reinforce concepts, and skills; given this opportunity to do this for your child would be a pleasure to me.
