Experience Summary
Hi my name is Nidaa. I'm originally from Lebanon. Arabic is my native language. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut in 1994 and have been in the US for the last 20 years. I recently received my Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. I currently teach Fine Art Photography at Arizona State University, and have tutored Arabic in informal settings throughout the last 10 years. Teaching Style
My teaching methods are tailored to the student’s needs. I focus on verbal and written language proficiency, starting with standard grammar instruction, spelling and pronunciation. My style is conversational and cooperative. I use short stories, literature, film, music, and authentic cultural materials to enhance the student’s broader understanding of the Arabic language and culture.
My Hobbies
My hobbies are bird watching, reading, writing, animation, drawing....
