Experience Summary
I love working with children. I love seeing their eyes glow up when they finally understand something or learn something that was completely foreign to them before. I'm currently an undergraduate student at the University of South Florida obtaining a degree in English literature. I attended one of the nation's best high schools, according to Newsweek. I received my International Baccalaureate program certifying me to master challenging courses for greater, global knowledge. I've been a tutor at the Lake Worth Library for five years. I've helped children of all ages think critically. I have tutored students in AP English Literature and IB English Literature. I also help students achieve their writing skills by improving vocabulary. I am also available to tutor in Spanish. The goal I have for my students is to reveal to them that they are capable of obtaining the knowledge that is presented in front of them. I work carefully to track down the progress of every student. It is my duty to meet the individual needs of each one of my students and parents. I really believe that having the right study skills and habits can really add to progress.
