Teaching Style
Teaching tip and strategies of NCLEX boards along with nursing content. You need to learn to take the boards not just memorize the content in order to pass the exam! We will go over your priority questions, pharmacology, assignment, delegation, who do you see first, and select all questions. This is an intense course so please be prepared to work with me as well as at home. The goal is for you to pass your boards and become an RN!!!

I am a full time NCLEX tutor with a MSN in nursing education with a background in ER, ICU, and telemetry, med/surg and home care as well as nursing education. I now tutor full time with my own company and still practice nursing PRN. NCLEX tutoring has become a very rewarding career for me seeing nursing students advance into their careers and beyond. I have stayed in touch with students and made some great friends and colleagues. I take everyone's education seriously.
Let's talk about the tutoring course I offer: my style of teaching
is very intense. You have invested thousands of dollars and hours into
your education and the NCLEX is not about memorizing the material you
learned. You need to learn to take the test! If you can't take the
test you will NOT pass, memorization and content alone is not enough to
help you pass through the exam. All my tutoring is individualized per
student and one on one with me personally. I assess your needs, knowledge, strengths and weaknesses. Over the weeks we go through strategies in multiple choice questions, pharmacology, select all questions, priority questions, who do you see first, assignment and delegation as well as continuing with content.
Here is how it works: Depending on your location we will meet for 2
hours a week to go over strategies, different area of questions (as
stated above ie priority questions etc), and content. You will then be
required to take what you learn home and work on questions that I
provide you and return them to me for feedback and scoring. Each week
you will see your scores improve. I have all the books etc you need no
need to purchase any books. I will send you work that you will need
via email. You will be asked to return it back by email before your next
session. In order to tutor you will need access to a computer or
tablet with Skype, Audio and Video and I handle the rest where I can share my screen with you. If you are lacking in Math we will take time to go thru Math as well. If you are interested please let me know your availability.

Work as a NCLEX Tutor at Tristate Nursing Student Tutoring And Nclex Review Course. I am a full tutor in Pennsylvania and offer tutoring in my home or via Skype depending on your location. Skype is the new tutoring over the last few years for tutoring across the US and as long as you have access to the internet, a PC, and a Skype account you can successfully tutor via Skype. I teach my students how to take the NCLEX exam, memorization of the content is not enough and learning all the content is not enough, you must know how to take the standardized test! I go thru strategies, critical thinking, priority, delegation, assignment, which patients to see first, select all, and pharmacology. I do run a very intense course and requires a lot of work and time on the strategies and questions I provide you. We do meet for 2 hours a week to go over the strategies on multiple choice questions as well as the other topics I have listed. You will also have the option to join group tutoring on content that focus on chest tubes ,endotracheal and ventilators as well as cardiac group tutoring.
