Teaching Style
My student's comments:
Bakee’s teaching style makes many of the statistical methods much more palatable and easier to understand.
The best part of the course was the instructor’s willingness to reach out to students outside of class. He made it easy to stay on track when there was any confusion. The pace was very good. The instructor graded fairly, gave homework that was based on what we learned recently in class and was fair based on what had been taught. I liked that the professor provided examples and explained them step by step and was fair and open about his expectations of what was expected of the class given the background majors of the students.
I feel this course has prepared me very well for the information I will be analyzing during my research project. I really appreciate Bakkee's thoroughness and I think he was a wonderful teacher.
Bakee was very fair in his expectations and exams. He was always willing to work with the students in regards to the schedule and meeting outside of class. Very nice guy and he knows his subject.
