Experience Summary
I have majored in Arabic (Teaching Arabic as a Second /Foreign Language and Linguistics) and started working as an instructor after receiving my Masters Degree. I speak arabic and English too. This knowledge really helps me explain some concepts of Arabic grammar . My teaching experience (+10 years!) includes teaching groups and individuals of different levels. I always prepare individual oriented tests, tasks and texts to read, because I believe that if studying material matched the level, age and interests of the student it makes the learning process easier and more productive. My methods include authentic audio materials, magazine articles and TV programs. If needed, I adapt them to the level of my students. Using authentic material not only improves the skills, but also helps understand the culture of the country. The most important part of the learning/teaching process for me is the connection between a student and a teacher. the study role-plays and communicative situations was part of my Master's degree research. That is why I imply the knowledge of psychology, to choose the right pace of learning, emphasis either on visual or audible memory, the amount of new topics introduced. I do like working with children. I always make my classes productive and fun. Thank you for your attention.
