Experience Summary
I have 40 years of experience as a French teacher - my first 4 at Burke Academy in Waynesboro and the last 36 at Hephzibah High School, Richmond County. I also have 10 years of experience as a proctor for the Irasshai Japanese Program in Atlanta.
I am the organist and choir director at Burns Memorial United Methodist Church.
Teaching Style
I have a passion for the French language and culture. I have always had a close and enjoyable relationship with my students. I have 10 former students who are now French teachers themselves. I have reached the point in my career where I'm teaching the children of my former students. I can't tell you what a joy it is to work with the 2nd generation. I am retiring from the public school system but look forward to continuing to share my love of all things French. If you give me a chance, I promise to make a French lover of you!! Alors, allons-y! (Let's get going!)
