Experience Summary
Learning biology comes naturally for me and it has stuck with me because of the numerous times I have repeated the same material over and over again when I have taught fellow classmates and other students. Teaching is a natural gift I have and I enjoy passing along my knowledge to those committed to learn.
Teaching Style
I tend to teach directly, straight to the point, but also make it fun. I like to ask the student questions to make sure they understand. I also teach in a philosophical way. I try teaching the student in a way to think logically about the material to make better decisions when it comes to test time.
My Hobbies
Even though I like to have fun, I am a nerd at heart. I like making everything fun because good memories last a lifetime. Same goes with teaching. If I can make a joke(or mnemonic) out of something, and I know that will be embedded in one's brain, I'll definitely use it.
