Experience Summary
As a Product and Project Manager with over 10 years of cumulative experience managing software, web and video game products to market, I offer students real-world perspectives and exercises to prepare them for real-world design, production, quality assurance, leadership and marketing careers. I tend to teach the concepts that are not found in textbooks and always challenge my students to think critically.
Teaching Style
In both my technical business and music coaching backgrounds, I take two different approaches:
- In a group class, I teach structured lessons with engaging group exercises where possible and time for Q&A.
- In individual coaching, I assess each learner's intrinsic motivations (mastery, learning, recognition, etc.) for taking the lessons and then structure assignments that apply to and challenge these motivators.
