Experience Summary
In this field, I began my career training in 1983 with the Army Corp of Engineers, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia Defensive Mapping School, the job title of “Technical Drafting Specialist”. Today, I employ the use of my experience, technical knowledge and skills in the function as Civil Designer and Project Manager. I design and produce engineering plans for land development of real property, commercial, residential and industrial with related infrastructure water, sewer, roads, highways, interstates, park n ride’s, etc.
I perform the services and support of Project Manager, Engineer, Designer, CAD Draftsman, Land Surveyor and Rodman. I compose the contract’s, record topographic datum, prepare the plans and obtain all necessary plan approval’s for various client’s in which they are able to procure the construction permit’s and proceed to construction. An example of a project I obtained, I surveyed the property tied it to Maricopa County GDAC’s point, downloaded survey datum, created the Grading and Drainage Plans with supporting checklist documentation, emailed the project to client for submission to City of Phoenix, Planning and Development Department for approval, I accomplished this in 3 ½ days.
The hardware and software I have used in my profession is as follows; PC’s Laptops, Nikon Total Stations, Autocad/Autodesk applications, Autocad MAP, Autocad Civil, with multiple disciplines and Autocad verticals, install and configure Autocad profiles, Autocad P&ID, Autocad Structural Detailing, Autodesk Navisworks, Autocad Utility Design, Autocad Raster Images, Adobe. I have used Autocad since the first math coprocessor was integrated in the program.
I have worked in Phoenix since 1987 implementing development projects with State, Counties, and municipal representatives, reviewers, inspectors, Engineers, Architects, Planners, Developers, Contractors and their contacts in Arizona for… 27 years.
Teaching Style
Available 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 pm I currently pursue civil engineering projects from craigslist ads, currently project under City of Peoria reivew for approval, expected approval 4-30-14 = $Payday$ I can show you how to run Autocad for the reality of making your own $Payday$.

I am current registered for the Arizona Board of Technical registration & NCEES, for the Engineer In-Training Exam for 2014, and pursuing my Civil Engineering registration by experience and examination. Estimated registration 2015.
