I believe in using my experience and expertise as a writer to help students maximize their potential. As a writing and composition instructor at Eastern Michigan University, I worked with a diverse population of students, who were from all different educational backgrounds, and my priority was to ensure that each student excelled and improved their writing. I've taught reading, writing and composition at the collegiate level. I'm currently a PhD candidate in Educational Studies at Eastern Michigan University. As a graduate assistant with the GEAR UP program at Eastern, I tutored eighth grade students in various subject areas, with English and writing being my specialty.
