Experience Summary
Hello! My name is Rachel and I have over 6 years of experience tutoring. I started teaching students ESL when they came from Korea and quickly began teaching all ages from 3-83 in all subjects from elementary studies to ESL and even Spanish. I now call myself "Cheshire Language Consulting" and I make myself available to help all sorts of students understand the complexities of language, how to be confident in school, how to speak another language for work, or even just how to "learn to learn". Tutoring is my passion and I'd love to tutor you!
Teaching Style
I am a very personable, relationship-built sort of tutor. I am no-nonsense when need be, but I try to focus on building nurturing relationships with my students, especially with children. I also work to build the confidence of students that score poorly on grades in school and love a challenge!
My Hobbies
Learning new languages: fluent in Spanish, decent at Portuguese, basic Mandarin, and basic Romanian. Creative and artistic. Writing and logic.
