Experience Summary

Owner/Operator oversaw all marketing of services, recruiting of educators and students and tutored in multiple fields of study. Developed SAT / ACT / FCAT Test preparation service, which boasted great success until the severe down turn in our economy. Provided college advising and general tutoring for students in grades 3 – 12, as well as those seeking assistance with GED, ASVAB, TEAS Nursing and other entrance exams. I have over 17 years of teaching experience, over 4000 hours of one on one tutoring and over 2500 of ACT / SAT tutoring.

Teaching Style

Relaxed yet structured style. I seek to find the students area of frustration and/or weakness and address it through different styles and successful plans that have worked for me over my career.

My Hobbies

I am a part time Movie Reviewer for the major studios and recently created a movie feedback posting, Photography, Old movies (especially quality historical movies and documentaries, Family time. I have coached sports for 25+ years and enjoy coaching Softball, Soccer and football. I also enjoy most anything to do with Disney, the Boston Red Sox and/or Green bay Packers.

Other Comments

I do expect my students to come prepared to turn off their cell phones, focus on the task at hand and to have completed any work necessary for our scheduled session. I preach Personal Responsibility.
